WALKING: Walking is a good way to start and there are walks all over the Borough. For up to date information please call 01384 816460 or visit www.lets-get.com.  If you live near Leasowes Park in Halesowen, check out the walks in the area on www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmG4SFykc6A. GYM AND LEISURE CENTRE BASED ACTIVITIES: Dudley Council has three leisure centres and a sports facility.  For more information visit www.dudley.gov.uk/sport or call 01384 812800.

ACTION HEART is one of the country's leading cardiac rehabilitation centres offering a range of supervised exercise on site and a programme of led walks.  Please call 01384 456111 Ext. 1470 for further details.

CYCLING:  Dudley Council offers training for cycling of all ages and abilities.  For more information about training, cycle routes, or clubs in Dudley, please contact Dudley's Road Safety Team on 01384 815433, or the Leap Over 50 Team, email: leapover50@ageukdudley.org.uk.

If you are a fan of 'Strictly' and would like to join a dance class, there are classes in various parts of the Borough.  Please contact Fiona Bennett on 01384 243451 for more details.

SPORT CLUBS: Please contact Dudley Council's Sport and Physical Activity Team on 01384 815594.

ROWING: Yes, you can learn to row in Dudley! You can also take part in sailing, ski-ing and diving at Dudley Watersports Centre.  Please contact www.dudleyewatersports.com for more information.  Anyone over 11 is welcome.

SWIMMING is one of the best ways to keep fit in that it does not put any pressure on any joints.  There are various public pools in the Borough, check out the one nearest to you at www.dudley.gov.uk
